Seven people were killed by roadside bombs in Afghanistan

Asif Vaziri, a spokesman for the Balkh provincial police, said: “The bomb was placed in a roadside trolley. When the bus passed by, the bomb was detonated.

Waziri said that the explosion occurred at about 7 a.m. near Said Abad Square in Mazar-i-Sharif.

He said that six more people were injured in the explosion. Further details are not clear, and no individual or organization has claimed the explosion.

The local branch of the Islamic State has declared that it has committed many previous attacks.
