Senior White House officials will be vaccinated against the coronavirus first, before the public

by YCPress

December 14 According to many U.S. media reports, White House officials and people familiar with the matter revealed that senior White House officials will receive some of the first batch of coronavirus vaccines in the United States, before the general public.

According to CNN and The New York Times on the 13th, the coronavirus vaccination in the United States will start as early as this week, and because the supply of vaccines is extremely limited, only high-risk medical staff can be more widely vaccinated.

White House staff said they had close contacts with President Trump and planned to receive a vaccine soon.

Sources said they hope that the final distribution of the vaccine will include everyone working in the White House, but the vaccine will start with some of the most senior officials working around Trump.

U.S. media pointed out that it is not clear how much or how many doses of vaccines the White House will distribute or need.

The White House has not yet responded to a request for comment.
