Senior general of the Russian army died at the age of 79

According to a report quoted by the Russian News Agency on December 8th, quoting the chairman of the Russian Military Chiefs Club, Shaposhnikov, the last Soviet Defense Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Air Force, died at the age of 79.

Shaposhnikov is a Soviet and Russian politician, strategist, senior general of the army and marshal of the air force. He was the last Minister of Defense of the Soviet Union, the commander-in-chief of the air force, and the only interim commander-in-chief of the CIS armed forces.
