Starting from 9:30 a.m. local time on the 27th, the Saudi-led coalition launched a new round of air strikes on the capital Sana’a’a under the control of the Houthi armed forces in Yemen.

The main targets of the air strike were the military academy in Sana’a’a city and the Mount Aiban area in the southwest of the city.

According to local witnesses, the explosion ignited fire and thick smoke after the air strike, which inferred that the air strike on Mount Aiban was probably located in a Houthis fuel warehouse or similar facility.

At the time of press release, the air strikes had lasted for two and a half hours, and at least six explosions had occurred in the capital Sana’a’a city.

At present, coalition warplanes are still moving intensively over Sana’a’a. In the surrounding area outside Sana’a, there were also large-scale air strikes that morning.

At present, the casualties and losses caused by air strikes are not clear. It is worth mentioning that after a period of silence, this is the first time in more than three months that Sana’a has been hit by such a large-scale air strike.
