Rwanda Kigali International Peace Marathon cancelled
According to Rwanda media reports on the 17th, as the pandemic continues to affect global sports events, the Kigali International Peace Marathon in Rwanda has become the latest “victim”.
The Rwanda Athletics Federation (RAF) confirmed on Monday that the Kigali International Peace Marathon will not be held this year.
In an interview, the RAF chairman stated that the RAF has notified the Ministry of Health in a letter that it is no longer possible to organize a competition this year due to the massive time loss caused by the pandemic and international travel restrictions.
