Russian warplanes intercepted French military aircraft over the Black Sea for three days in a row

May 12, local time, the Russian Defense Ministry’s National Defense Management Center announced that the Southern Russian Military Region belongs to the Su-27 fighter aircraft in the Black Sea waters the same day intercepted the French Air Force Mirage-2000 fighter and a refueling aircraft.

Russian radar devices have spotted aerial targets near the Russian border over neutral waters in the Black Sea, the sources said. In order to identify air targets and prevent them from violating Russian airspace, Su-27 aircraft lifted off and confirmed that the air targets were two French Air Force Mirage-2000 aircraft and one C-135 aerial refueling aircraft. Russian warplanes then escorted French warplanes out of the Black Sea.

Russian warplanes intercepted French warplanes over the Black Sea on the 10th, 11th and 12th, respectively.
