Russian warplanes intercept NATO aircraft in the Barents Sea

May 11 2021 a P-3C anti-submarine patrol aircraft belonging to the Norwegian Air Force was operating in the Barents Sea near the Russian border, according to the Russian Northern Fleet Information Service.

Subsequently, a Russian MiG-31 fighter aircraft emergency lift-off with the intercept, NATO military aircraft after the discovery of Russian warplanes away from the Russian border direction.

The Russian military said that on the 11th alone, the Russian border area appeared four NATO military aircraft. Earlier, the Russian military also sent Su-30 fighter jets in the Black Sea region to intercept three military aircraft from France.
