Russian President Putin and French President Macron spoke by phone to discuss the situation in the Naka region
On November 7, local time, the Russian President’s website announced that during
the phone conversation between Russian President Putin and French President Macron
They discussed the conflict in the Naqqa region. The two sides expressed serious concerns about the ongoing large-scale conflict in the
Naka region and the participation of more Syrian and Libyan mercenaries in the war.
Putin briefed Macron on the steps taken by Russia to promote an early ceasefire and resume
negotiations aimed at reaching a political and diplomatic solution.
The two sides reiterated that they will continue to coordinate actions
including good offices within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.
