Police in Bali, Indonesia, are searching for a 22-year-old Russian model who went viral online after filming a pornographic video on Mount Batur on Indonesia’s Island of Gods, RT today reported. The video has been viewed by more than a million people.
According to multiple media reports, the model’s name is Veronica Troshina. She chose to have her male companions film her in one of Indonesia’s holiest places, sparking outrage in Bali, popular with Russian tourists.
It is understood the video was posted on a site last year and had been viewed more than 1.2 million times before it was deleted. If the model remains in Bali and is found by law enforcement, she and her partner could face up to two years and eight months in prison for indecent behaviour in a public place.
One of Trossina’s social media accounts has been frozen, and she has 552,000 followers on sites that upload videos. “We are coordinating with the immigration authorities to find out if the people involved are still in Bali, ” said a local official. ”
Reports say tourist misconduct often makes headlines in Bali. Earlier this year, another influential Russian, Sergey Kosenko, was expelled from the island for hosting a party on the island in violation of the new crown. In August 2020, Bali’s law and human rights department revealed that 59 people from 29 countries, 10 of them Russians, had been forced to leave in the first half of last year.
