Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman: Russia reserves the right to respond further to the EU’s unfriendly behavior

April 30 2021 Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Zakharova said that the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the European Union Ambassador to Russia Marcus Edre, and has informed the other side of Russia’s sanctions against eu and EU officials.

Zakharova said the EU’s previous sanctions against Russian citizens violated international law, Russia made the decision in response to EU sanctions, Russia will ban sanctions on people entering Russia, and reserve the right to further respond to the EU’s unfriendly behavior.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on its official website announcing sanctions against eight EU and EU officials, including European Parliament President David Sassoli.
