Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov: Russia will fight back against any Western sanctions

May 6, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told the media in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, that Russia would respond to any anti-Russian sanctions imposed by Western countries.

Lavrov said the United States and some EU member states continue to impose sanctions on Russia, Russia will not ignore such anti-Russian behavior.

Lavrov pointed out that there is no compelling reason for the West’s accusations, and that sanctions themselves are illegal.
