According to Tehran, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on February 17th local time that Iran hopes to continue to cooperate with the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency.
According to the report, Rouhani said: “We will remain a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency. We will continue to abide by the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and will continue to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency within this framework.”
Rouhani also said he would convey this message to the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, who plans to visit Tehran.
It is reported that Iran informed the International Atomic Energy Agency on the 16th that from February 23, Iran will no longer allow its inspectors to have unrestricted access to Iran’s nuclear facilities.
