January 27th local time, Russian President Putin attended the World Economic Forum’s “Davos Agenda” dialogue in Moscow by video.
In his speech, Putin said that globalization and domestic growth have helped developing countries achieve economic take-off and helped more than one billion people out of poverty.
Putin quoted World Bank data that the number of low-income people in China has decreased from 1.1 billion in 1990 to less than 300 million in recent years. Putin stressed that this is undoubtedly a success for China.
