According to local Lebanese media reports, May 25 coincides with the 21st anniversary of Lebanon’s “Day of Resistance and Liberation”, Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Diab said in a social media post that the victory against Israeli aggression is a historic milestone, since then the situation in the Lebanon-Israel conflict has been truly reversed, the liberation movement ignited the fire of victory from 2000 to 2006, burning to 2021 Gaza victory.
On the 25th local time, Iranian President Rouhani congratulated Lebanese President Aoun to commemorate “Day of Resistance and Liberation”. Rouhani expressed the hope that Lebanon will continue to forge ahead along the path of resistance and liberate all its territory, and that Iran will continue to support the Lebanese government and people.
