On the 15th local time, Polish Prime Minister Moraviecki said that the Polish government had passed the national coronavirus vaccine immunization plan.
He also said that he had signed a contract with six suppliers for 60 million doses of the novel coronavirus vaccine, and the government had prepared 3 billion zloti (about $1 billion) for the vaccine immunization program, and will also prepare the same funds at the corresponding medical facilities.
Morawiecki also called for people to participate in the vaccine immunization program, emphasizing that if the number of participants is too small, even if the vaccine is effective, it will not work.
Poland plans to achieve universal immunization against COVID-19 by 2021, and the vaccination is free and voluntary.
The first batch of vaccinators will be carried out among high-risk groups such as medical staff, soldiers, and people over 65 years old.
