Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has been vaccinated against Coronavirus

On the evening of May 3rd, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte was given the first dose of the new Chinese medicine. The vaccine was administered by Philippine Health Minister Du Kesch.

Earlier, on February 22nd the Philippine Food and Drug Administration approved an emergency license for Coronavirus vaccine produced by China’s SinoVac. It is the only Chinese vaccine currently licensed for emergency use in the Philippines.
