Pfizer will apply to Japan for approval of its coronavirus vaccine on Friday.

According to the Nikkei Asian Review on the 18th, Pfizer will apply to Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare for approval of its coronavirus vaccine on Friday. Pfizer was the first vaccine supplier to seek formal approval in Japan and has agreed to supply 120 million doses of vaccine to Japan, enough for 60 million people to use.
