The Chairman of the Council of Ministers (Prime Minister) and several new ministers were sworn in on the same day.
Pilar Mace, who served as the Minister of Health in the government of the former
President Vizcarra Di and Minister of Culture Alejandro Neira returned to their original positions.
According to Peruvian media reports, the new Chairman of the
Council of Ministers (Prime Minister) Violetta Bemudez is a lawyer, mainly engaged in
research on public policy and protection of vulnerable groups.
He has served as Deputy Minister of Women’s Ministry and Cabinet Advisor in Peru.
