One person has been killed in a shooting at a connecticut bar

A man was killed in a shooting at a sports bar in East Hartford, Connecticut, in the early hours of August 20, local time.

Local police received a call about 0:30 a.m. that someone had been shot in the parking lot. By the time police arrived at the scene, the 27-year-old victim had been shot unconscious. The victim was taken to hospital after CPR. The man later died.

Police have not released further details about the case.
