February 7th, local time, the Supreme Council for the Prevention and Control of the Pandemic in Oman announced that in view of the current severe pandemic situation outside Oman, it had decided to continue to close the land border crossing until further notice.

During the closure period, only citizens of their own countries are allowed to return to China through border ports.

Since then, the Supreme Council announced on January 24 and January 31, respectively, that the policy will be extended again.
