by YCPress

January 15th local time, the National Rifle Association (NRA) applied for bankruptcy protection.

Wayne LaPierre, CEO of the National Rifle Association, said that the plan to relocate its headquarters from New York to Texas as part of the reorganization plan.

However, according to Reuters analysis, the National Rifle Association filed for bankruptcy protection to avoid litigation.

In August last year, the Attorney General of New York sued the National Rifle Association, the largest gun-holding organization in the United States, to dissolve the Association.
