December 6th – Time magazine announced the cover of the latest issue of the magazine, which said, “2020 is the worst year”. 2020 in black and white was painted with a red cross. The red cross mark has only appeared on the cover of the magazine four times.
ABC reported on the 6th that the upcoming cover of Time magazine resonates easily. The cover reads a huge 2020 with a red fork and a few small words “Worst Year Ever” on the bottom.
According to American media reports, the red fork has a certain symbolic significance, because the magazine has only used it on four occasions: the first was the death of German Nazi leader Adolf Hitler; the second was the outbreak of the Iraq war in 2003; and the third was the U.S. military killed the leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, in 2006. Musab Zarqawi; the fourth was the U.S. military killing Al-Qaeda leader bin Laden in 2011.
Some American media believe that Time magazine defines 2020 as the “worst year”, referring to the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic on the one hand, and also targeting the U.S. election on the other.
