Nearly half of workers at a steel mill in Thailand have been diagnosed with coronavirus

May 4, local time, Thailand’s Coronavirus Outbreak Management Center spokesman revealed that a concentrated coronavirus infection occurred at a steel plant in Beilanfu, located on the southeastern outskirts of the Thai capital Bangkok.

At present, nearly half of the workers of the steel plant have been confirmed. The plant employs a total of 323 people, 151 of the 160 confirmed cases are coronaviruses infected in the plant, and another 9 have been confirmed through community transmission, the source of the cluster infection was a former Burmese worker at the factory infected with the coronavirus caused by the spread.
