Myanmar’s military and police have seized a large number of homemade weapons in the town of Yuwu, Shi’an province

At about 13:00 on May 13 2021, Myanmar military and police seized a large number of homemade weapons in the town of Yuwu, Shikow Province, and arrested two youths suspected of making weapons. The two youths were allegedly involved in an attack in the early hours of the same day in a village 3 kilometres west of the town.

At the same time, the road leading to Mujiu and Yeserju was temporarily closed to avoid more suspects and the outflow of homemade weapons.
