May 13, local time, bulgaria’s caretaker cabinet made clear its position on the accession of neighbouring Northern Macedonia to the European Union on the second day of the collective swearing-in. Bulgaria’s caretaker cabinet will not change its opposition to Northern Macedonia’s accession to the European Union, Foreign Minister Svetlan Stov told the media.

On May 13th Bulgaria’s new caretaker cabinet made a statement that was not only in line with the position of Borisov’s previous government, but also in line with the consistent position of Bulgarian President Radev. Svetlan Stoff stressed that his main task as caretaker cabinet foreign minister for the next two to three months is to organize Bulgarians abroad to vote in the early general election on July 11.
