Myanmar’s central bank says it will crack down on illegal cash-outs and stabilize financial order

April 15, local time, the Bank of Myanmar issued a statement saying that there had recently been a situation in Myanmar that had been profiting from illegal cash withdrawals, in violation of section 99b of Chapter 16 of the Banking Act of Myanmar. Myanmar’s central bank said it would crack down on such wrongdoing and stabilize financial order.
