Myanmar’s capital and other places issued restrictions on gatherings and curfews.

February 8, the General Affairs Bureau of the government in Yangon, Mandalay, Dongzhi and other places in Myanmar issued notices to restrict gatherings and curfews.

According to the circular, in order to avoid people’s security and regional stability, and to avoid possible riots, it is prohibited to gather, speak, process, demonstrate, sabotage and riot by more than five people within its jurisdiction, and a curfew from 20 o’clock to 4 a.m. the next day was imposed.
