More than half of the Japanese companies surveyed hope that the Tokyo Olympic Games will be cancelled or postponed.

According to Reuters, a survey of enterprises released on the 15th, a Japanese think tank Tokyo Business Survey showed that 33.05 percent of the enterprises surveyed hoped to postpone the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games postponed this summer this year, and 22.95% thought it should be cancelled.

In addition, 19.34% and 16.88% of the audience and empty venues were believed to be limited.

Only 7.78% of the enterprises surveyed believe that the audience should be hosted as planned, a 14.8 percentage point lower than the results released last August.

The survey was carried out by the Tokyo Commercial Industry Survey from February 1 to 8, and a total of 11,432 enterprises were surveyed.
