Minnesota Attorney General: Thank you to the witnesses who recorded the video and provided evidence in the Floyd case

by YCPress

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison holds a press conference after the outcome of the Floyd trial was announced on April 20, local time.

In his speech, Ellison thanked the witnesses who recorded Floyd’s violent police enforcement. Mr Ellison said the witnesses who recorded the videos realised the act was wrong and bravely told the truth, telling the world what they had seen and “we should thank them for fulfilling their civic duty” to bring justice to Floyd.

Video of Floyd’s neck-and-neck attack went viral on the Internet, leading to large-scale “African-American Lives” demonstrations across the United States at the end of May last year.
