Medical institutions in Uzbekistan: Uzbekistan may purchase Chinese coronavirus vaccine by July

The Bureau of Pandemic Prevention, Safety and Public Health of Uzbekistan told the media on the 15th that the third phase of the coronavirus vaccine developed by Chinese companies in Uzbekistan is progressing smoothly.

At present, a total of 6,820 volunteers have been injected with the first dose of vaccine and 1,625 volunteers have been injected with the second dose of vaccine. The U-Uk side may purchase the vaccine by July this year (2021).

Testing of this vaccine began in Uzbekistan on 11 December 2020.

In addition, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine plans to set up more than 3,000 vaccination stations in China, and start large-scale vaccination against the novel coronavirus from March.

Seven million people will be vaccinated by the end of the year, which is equivalent to 20% of the country’s population.
