by YCPress

On November 3, local time, New York City Mayor De Blasio said that the current 7-day average number of confirmed new coronavirus infections in New York City was “worrisome”.

In the past week, New York City has an average of 605 new coronavirus infections every day, and an average of 83 new hospital admissions per day.

At the same time, the new coronavirus infection rate in New York on November 2 was “obviously abnormal” 0.38%.

De Blasio said the number of daily tests will vary, so the true infection rate is 1.59% of the 7-day average.

New York is the largest and most densely populated city in the United States. It was the center of the coronavirus in the United States in March, and it has been gradually restarted from June.

At present, New York City still prohibits the restart of crowd gathering places such as movie theaters.

According to data released by the New York City Public Health Agency on the 2nd, there were a total of 256,881 coronavirus cases in New York City, 19,355 deaths, and 4,662 “possibly deaths from new coronavirus infection” cases.
