According to the Lebanese National News Agency, on the 21st, President Awn presided over the meeting of the Supreme National Defense Council and decided to extend the stay-at-home order until February 8, demanding that the Lebanese Army and security services be strictly implemented.

Lebanon has entered a health emergency since the 14th of this month, which is scheduled to end on the 25th of this month.

In light of the recent rise in new confirmed cases and deaths, authorities have ordered the extension of the stay-at-home order.

During this period, all public and private institutions except necessary departments are closed, and all personnel must stay at home.
