Lebanon’s cabinet formation process is blocked. The Lebanese Speaker hopes France’s help.

According to local media reports, on the 15th local time, Lebanese Speaker

Berry said that the cabinet formation process was completely blocked and the country was in

a “deplorable situation” and hoped that French President Macron would help during his visit to Lebanon.

According to media reports, Lebanese President Aun and Prime Minister-designate Hariri accused

each other of delaying the cabinet formation process in a statement on Monday (14th)

and the differences between the two sides were growing.

It is reported that Macron will visit Lebanon on the 22nd.

On 22 October, Saad Hariri won the parliamentary vote and was subsequently authorized by the President to form a new cabinet.
