February 7th – A 16-year-old Kenyan boy hid in the landing gear of the plane and arrived in the Netherlands.
He is currently receiving treatment in the hospital because of hypothermia.
According to the Sun on the 5th, an airport spokesman said that the boy was found at the airport in the Netherlands and then taken to the hospital.
“The teenager is very lucky to survive.” The teenager alone grabbed the landing gear of the plane at an altitude of 10,000 meters, survived the extreme cold environment, crossed thousands of miles from Africa and finally came to Europe.
Dutch police said on Twitter that the boy was in stable condition and was investigating potential human trafficking related to stowaways.
It is reported that it was an Airbus A330 cargo plane of Turkish Airlines, which flew to London the day before after transiting from Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, via Istanbul, Turkey, and then from London, and finally landed at Maastricht Airport in the Netherlands.
