November 28th, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga issued instructions to strengthen the Army, Sea and Air Self-Defense Forces as a whole regarding issues such as space and network response capabilities that have increased in importance in Japan’s defense policy.
According to a report from Kyodo News on the 28th, Yoshihide Suga gave instructions at the aviation inspection ceremony held at the Air Self-Defense Force Enma Base (Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture).
He emphasized: “Exclude the vertical division of organizations, cross the barriers of land, sea and air, and adopt Measures, this is very important.” He also pointed out that Japan’s security environment has become increasingly severe.
After that, Yoshihide Suga inspected the troops, and he sat in the cockpit of the F-4 fighter plane that was about to be retired, taking pictures.
According to reports, in order to prevent the new crown epidemic, the inspection ceremony was reduced in scale and held without spectators, and the demonstration flight was cancelled.
According to Kongzi, this is the first time that a demonstration flight has not been implemented except for poor weather conditions.
