Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously issued a Level 3 “Advisory to Suspension of Navigation” to 159 countries and regions around the world. As the pandemic in China,
South Korea and other countries and regions have been brought under control, Japan has lowered its “sustained sailing advisory” for these countries to level 2, that is, “there is no need for urgent matters, and sailing is not recommended.”
Japanese media previously reported that the Japanese government has begun negotiations with the Chinese government to resume business contacts between the two countries that have been restricted due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The target audiences are those who stay in Japan for a short period of time for business trips and those who are stationed in Japan for a long time.
Japan hopes to restore its domestic economy through the resumption of overseas business trips and appointments. However, at present, people who can enter Japan are limited to business people or those with medium and long-term residence permits.
Foreign tourists have not yet been allowed to enter.
