Japan Asia airways declares bankruptcy

13 December Japan has the first airline bankruptcy under the epidemic, and all four routes of a low-cost airline called “Japan Asia airways” have been cancelled recently.

Japan Asia airways is currently returning leased aircraft, one of which has flown to Singapore on the 8th, and the remaining two will be returned by the end of January next year.

Due to insolvency, AirAsia of Japan applied to the court last month to initiate bankruptcy proceedings, with a total debt of about $0.5 billion.

According to reports, AirAsia of Japan is still in arrears with more than $3.5k in ticket reservations, with a total amount of more than $10 million.
