Japan announced that it will pilot small-scale tours from some countries this month.

According to Japan’s Daily News, Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Communications announced on the 17th local time that it would accept small-scale tour groups visiting Japan on a trial basis in May.

According to the report, the pilot was aimed at group tourists from four countries: the United States, Australia, Thailand and Singapore. Tourists must meet the conditions of being vaccinated against COVID-19 three times, accompanied by a tour guide from the travel agency according to the predeterminerary.
