Iraqi security forces seized 700 kilograms of explosives in Baghdad
On November 26th local time, through accurate intelligence reconnaissance, the Iraqi national security department found a large hiding place of extremist organizations in western Baghdad and seized 700 kilograms of C4 explosives.
Intelligence agencies speculate that the explosives were originally intended to be transported to the southern provinces of Iraq for large-scale terrorist activities.
Recently, terrorist attacks across Iraq have shown a trend of frequent occurrence. On the evening of the 26th, a car exploded in front of a liquor store in the central district of Baghdad, damaging nearby shops and vehicles.
Later, a patrol in Kirkuk, the northern province, was attacked by explosive devices, injuring four soldiers and sent to the hospital for treatment.
