According to Iranian media reported on the 17th, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that the Iranian nuclear agreement related parties held talks the same day, the parties have reached consensus on some issues, but there are still some key differences need to be discussed in the next talks.

Abbas Araghchi said the meeting mainly reviewed recent progress in negotiations on the lifting of U.S. sanctions against Iran and Iran’s re-implementation of the agreement. The report of the Working Group of Experts was discussed, and a broader consensus was reached on the ultimate goal, deepening mutual understanding.

The way forward is clearer, but difficulties remain, and there are still some key differences between the parties that need to be resolved one by one in the coming negotiations. As has been said before, Iran does not seek lengthy and expendable negotiations, but they will continue until clear objectives are achieved.

Abbas Araghchi said that for now, the parties have reached a basic consensus, the Iranian delegation has been on the lifting of sanctions against Iran and the resumption of implementation of the agreement commitments to other parties, such as the text, the final agreement will be formed on this basis.
