November 30 According to the Israel Times, an Iranian journalist in London said on the evening of the 29th that Iran has released photos of four suspects suspected in the case regarding the killing of Iranian nuclear scientist Muhsin Fakrizad.
It is reported that Iranian intelligence agents distributed photos of the suspects in hotels across the country and asked the hotel owner to report them immediately if they saw them. The reporter also said that Iranian troops have intensified deployment patrols near the border with Iraq, because they expect suspects to use this route to flee Iran.
According to previous reports, on the 27th local time, Muhsin Fakrizad, a senior Iranian nuclear scientist, was attacked near the capital Tehran and died after unsuccessful rescue.
Reuters reported that Iran said in a letter to United Nations Secretary-General Guterres and the United Nations Security Council on the same day that there were “strong signs that Israel was responsible for the assassination of an Iranian scientist” and that Iran reserved the right to self-defence.
On the 28th local time, Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei strongly condemned the killing of Iranian nuclear scientist Muhsin Fakrizad, calling for “clear punishment” for those behind the killing of Fakrizad.
Khamenei also promised revenge and said that the relevant nuclear work carried out by Fakrizad would continue.
