December 14th local time, a nurse in Queens, New York City, USA, was vaccinated against Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, becoming the first vaccinated in the state.

It is reported that the nurse’s name is Sandra Lindsay, an intensive care unit nurse. The vaccination on that day was broadcast live online.

Lindsay said in the video that she “feeled hope” and hoped that vaccination would “be the beginning of ending this very painful period in American history”.

On Friday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the emergency use authorization of Pfizer’s vaccine, and on the 14th, it is expected that the first batch of vaccines will be received at 145 locations in 50 states across the United States.
