Bloomberg reported on January 10 that Indonesian President Joko Widodo said that he had received reports of the crash of Indonesia’s Sanfoqi Airlines passenger plane. Vidodo confirmed that the passenger plane crashed in the Java Sea.
According to overseas reports, a Boeing 737-500 of Indonesian Sanfoqi Airlines lost contact shortly after taking off from the capital Jakarta on the 9th, and was later found to crash in the waters near Jakarta.
Radar shows that the plane plummeted 10,000 feet a minute before losing contact.
Indonesian Transport Minister Budi said that the crashed plane did not fly according to the established course after take-off.
