April 26 2021 Confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic in Tamil Nadu, India, are on the rise, and the local government on Thursday issued stricter new rules to prevent people from entering places of worship.
However, many couples violated the new rules, even held a wedding on the street at the entrance to the temple, many of the friends and relatives gathered without masks.
As the outbreak in India worsened, the Tamil Nadu government announced on the 24th, from the 26th to close cinemas, places of worship, shopping malls, bars and beauty salons. This shocked several couples who had planned to marry at the temple after several days.
The couple married at the entrance to a temple because they were forbidden to enter the place of worship.
According to video from the scene, most of the relatives and friends who attended the wedding did not wear masks or kept their social distance, in clear violation of the pandemic prevention rules.
Indian media reported that the temple shown in the video is the Swamy Temple, considered a sacred place, Indians believe that couples married in the temple, will be happy and rich life. Every good day, there will be 100 to 300 weddings.
