U.S. media reported on February 6 that 20-year-old Timothy Wilks was shooting the so-called “prank” video on the parking lot on Old Hickory Avenue on Friday in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. He was shot frequently.

According to the Nashville Police Department, at about 9:25 that night, police arrived at the scene of the crime, and David Starnes Jr., 23, admitted to shooting Wilkes, 20, who was 20 years old.

Witnesses told the police that Wilkes and one of his friends were engaged in a “prank” robbery when they were approaching a group of people with butcher knives.

Stanez told the police that he did not know it was a prank and shot Wilkes in self-defence.

At present, no one has been charged with Wilkes’ death.

Police investigation is still ongoing on the identity of the friend Wilkes was with at the time of his death and whether Starnes had a permit to hold a gun.

Nick Leonardo, a legal analyst on Nashville’s WTVF channel Newschannel5, said that it was not the first time that a prank had happened.

This incident left us with a question – is the shooting legitimate?

“It’s critical that the district attorney must determine if a crime has occurred…

It is legal to use lethal force to protect themselves or third parties from serious physical harm or from death they face, and it’s important that they take into account,” Leonardo said.
