Evening of April 18 2021, clashes broke out between hundreds of Palestinians and Israeli police near the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City. Israeli police used water cannons to disperse palestinian groups.
At least three Palestinians were reportedly arrested, and Israeli police accused them of attacking police officers at the scene.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, four Palestinians were injured during the conflict and required medical treatment.
Clashes between Palestinians and Israeli police have occurred every night in Jerusalem’s Old City since the start of Ramadan on 13 April.
