On November 9, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin presided over a regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A reporter asked: A few days ago, the Constitutional Court of Guinea announced the final result of the presidential election.
The current President Conte won the election with 59.5% of the vote.
What is China’s comment?
Wang Wenbin said that China would like to congratulate President Conte on his victory.
He believed that under the leadership of President Conte, the people of Guinea will unite as one and take greater steps on the road of national development and construction.
China and Guinea are good friends and brothers who share weal and woe and support each other.
China cherishes the traditional friendship between the two countries and is
willing to work with Guinea to promote greater development of the comprehensive strategic
cooperative partnership between the two countries for the benefit of the two peoples .
