Greece announced that people from the United Kingdom need to be quarantined for 7 days.

The Greek Ministry of Civil Protection announced on December 20 that from 6 a.m. local time on the 21st, all people from the United Kingdom will need to be quarantined for seven days after entering Greece.

However, people from other countries still have to abide by the original regulation, that is, to be quarantined for three days after entering Greece.

According to the introduction, Greece has launched stricter epidemic prevention measures specifically for people from the United Kingdom, mainly because of the recent discovery in the United Kingdom of a more threatening mutant strain of COVID-19 that is spreading.
