Georgia Senate election Democratic Party wins next seat

by YCPress

January 6th local time, several media said that Atlanta Democrat Rafael Walnut defeated current Republican Senator Kelly Loveler with 50.6% of the vote, and was elected to the Georgian Congressman, becoming the first African-American senator in Georgia.

Rafael Walnut is the first Democratic senator to be elected in Georgia in nearly 20 years.

Another Georgia Senate seat is still unstained and is still counting.

Republican incumbent David Perdue is narrowly far from Democratic Congressman Jon Osof, who is statistically ahead.

Osoff announced his victory on Wednesday morning, but no American media nor official admitted the victory.

President-elect Biden won Georgia in the general election, the first Democratic presidential victory since the 1990s.

U.S. media said Rafael Volnak’s victory in Georgia was a negation of Republican Senator Kelly Loveler and her support for President Donald Trump.
