Gaza university building hit by Israeli air strike: 6-story building collapses, book tables and chairs are left in ruins

by YCPress

On the afternoon of the 18th, local time, Hamas fired rockets into southern Israel and the border area, killing two Thai workers and injuring many others, the Times of Israel reported. Subsequently, Israeli air strikes in Gaza led to the collapse of a six-storey building.

Thailand’s foreign ministry spokesman reportedly said two people were killed and seven injured in the new attack were Thai. Israel has continued its air strikes on the Gaza Strip, with a six-story building turned to rubble by artillery fire, used by Islamic universities and other institutions, and tables, chairs and books.

No casualties have been reported as Israel informed the building’s residents prior to the attack. But nearby residents said the entire street was full of people running to evacuate when the attack began, and the blast shook like an earthquake, shaking the entire neighborhood.
